Client-focused, beautifully designed.
Melanie Scaffidi Interiors is a Melbourne-based design studio for clients who aren't afraid to embrace bold ideas and step beyond the ordinary. We create interiors that feel personal, practical and deeply connected to the way you live.
Designing homes is personal. I think the process should be too.
I know renovating can feel exciting one day and stressful the next. With so many decisions to make, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. I take the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions and understand what matters most to you.
I aim to bring clarity to every stage of your project, helping you make confident decisions with the reassurance that every detail is working towards a cohesive, beautifully designed space.

Beautifully considered interiors start with a highly personalised process.
Before discussing aesthetics, I take the time to understand your lifestyle, the challenges you're facing, and how you want your home to feel.

“Engaging Melanie was the best decision we made. Melanie has been wonderful at guiding us through the use of colour in our new home. My husband felt that her design expertise would balance my eclectic tastes, and he is very happy with the result! We highly recommend Melanie.”

"As builders, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with Mel and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our client is absolutely thrilled with the finished result and we couldn't be happier with how everything came together. We look forward to many more collaborations in the future and would highly recommend her.”

“Melanie was recommended to us by a client to improve the aesthetic at Kura. She brought creative ideas and provided 3D visuals which made the process so much easier. She co-ordinated the trade team and brought the project on time and in budget. I would definitely call her again in the future when there are projects such as this on the agenda.”
